Installation & Outlook Anywhere (English Version)

[Installation Environment]

   

Server Name : adexc,

Server Role : Active Directory(Windows 2008 R2 Std), Exchange 2010 Std

Exchange Role : Typical installation (Client Access, Hub Transport, Mailbox)

   

   

Phase 1 : Installation(Exchange 2010)

   

  • On servers that will host the Hub Transport or Mailbox server role, install the Microsoft Filter Pack. For details, see 2010 Office System Converter: Microsoft Filter Pack.

       

  • On the Start Menu, navigate to All Programs, then Accessories, then Windows PowerShell. Open an elevated Windows PowerShell console, and run the following command:

       

    Import-Module ServerManager

       

       

  • Use the Add-WindowsFeature cmdlet to install the necessary operating system components:

    For a server that will have the typical installation of Client Access, Hub Transport, and the Mailbox role:

       

       

    Add-WindowsFeature NET-Framework,RSAT-ADDS,Web-Server,Web-Basic-Auth,Web-Windows-Auth,Web-Metabase,Web-Net-Ext,Web-Lgcy-Mgmt-Console,WAS-Process-Model,RSAT-Web-Server,Web-ISAPI-Ext,Web-Digest-Auth,Web-Dyn-Compression,NET-HTTP-Activation,RPC-Over-HTTP-Proxy -Restart

       

       

  • After the system has restarted, log on as an administrator, open an elevated Windows PowerShell console, and configure the Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service for Automatic startup by running the following command:

       

    Set-Service NetTcpPortSharing -StartupType Automatic

       

       

  • Insert a Exchange 2010 Server CD, and then run the "LanguagePackBundle"

  • Find the LanguagePackBundle and then click the "Next" button

       

       

  • Click the "Microsoft Exchange Install"

       

       

  • Read the introduction of Exchange 2010 and then click the " Next" button

       

  • Agree the Microsoft License and then click the "Next" button

       

  • Error reporting to the Microsoft (Select anyone)

       

       

  • In install type, select the typical install and specify a path of the program file

       

       

  • Input of Exchange organization name

       

       

  • Client setting. If in your organization has outlook 2003, select the "Yes"

       

       

  • Input your external domain name to configure "Client Access Server". e.g : email.contosoft.msft

       

       

  • Select a your organization type

       

       

  • It will be checked automatically to install exchange server 2010

       

       

  • Click the "Finish" button

       

       

Phase 2 : Configuration(Certification)

   

  • In Exchange Management Console, click the server configuration and then click the "New Exchange Certification".

    And then input certification name.

       

       

  • Click the "Next" button

       

       

  • Check your external domain name

       

       

  • Add domain list

       

       

  • Input your organization name, country, etc

       

       

  • Click the "New creating" button

       

   

  • Click the "Finish" button

       

   

  • Request the certification.

    Go to the http://YourCeriticationFQDN/certsrv.

    Click the "Request Certification"

    Click the "Advance Certification"

    Click the "Base 64 encoding or PKCS #10 using…"

    Copy & paste XXX.req file of the "Exchange Server Certificate" on "Update & Request" and then select a "Web Server" and then click the "Send" button.

    In Microsoft Active Directory Certification Service, click the "Certification Download"

    Click the "Saver" button

       

  • In "Exchange Management Console", click the server configuration.

    In "Certification List", select the "Exchange Server Certificate" and then click the "Request Finish"

       

       

  • Click the "Finish" button

       

  • Assign that services to Certification

       

  • Click the "Assign" button

       

  • Click the "Y" button

       

  • Click the "Finish" button

       

  • Check your Outlook in Https Connection

       

  • Configure the "Send Connector" to send a internet

       

  • Type the "*"
